Facilities Maintenance

Bay Hope Church is a growing, thriving multi-site church in the Tampa Bay area, with locations in Lutz, Westchase, and USF. Join our Facility Maintenance team, who are responsible for preparing the Bay Hope Church campuses for events and activities, maintaining buildings and grounds, and responding to work orders from the ministry departments. The Facilities team ensures that the operations of the church run smoothly for guests, Church staff, and outside vendors to accomplish the day-to-day tasks and overall goals of the campuses.

Pre-requisite Requirements:
3 or more years of experience in building maintenance Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC Certification a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Weekday facility team responsibilities include:
Room setups and teardowns
Routine maintenance such as landscaping, paint, basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, etc.
Complete assigned tasks accurately, safely, and on time.
Work with ministry leaders and the Facilities management team with a great attitude

Sunday duties and responsibilities include:
Ensure the buildings and grounds are ready for services
Room setups as needed
Bathrooms (clean and maintain)
Common areas (clean and maintain)
Availability to respond to facility assistance as needed (spills, non-functional bathrooms, A/C issues, etc.)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell.The employee must frequently lift and / or move 50 pounds; climb a ladder; often work with basic tools; and move furniture.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; moderately high places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; moderate heat and cold.

Campus Technology Coordinator (Full Time)

The Campus Technology Coordinator position is responsible for understanding and use of all Audio/Video/Lighting technology as it pertains to worship and event experiences in all venues at all Bay Hope Church campuses. Video presentation, audio mixing and lighting design are key technical aspects of the position. There is also a volunteer recruitment and development facet to this position. In addition, there are seasonal tasks that will be required such as set changes and equipment maintenance as well as special project assignments.This position requires passing a comprehensive background check.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Mixing audio, lighting design, live video production, monitoring and repairing technical production equipment / systems are the main responsibilities. This role does also include understanding and using distributed audio and video systems throughout our campuses. This person must also be able to lead, mentor and train a team of tech volunteers. The position will require open communication with other staff, volunteers and laypersons in order to complete the tasks. This person must have strong troubleshooting and repair skills. Participation in department and production meetings are required.

The Director of Technology for Bay Hope Church will provide the technical training and guidance for this position. It is important to follow policies and procedures as found in the Employee Handbook, while performing regularly assigned responsibilities and other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology.

Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Thursday 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Qualifications:
Education and / or Experience
Minimum two years of experience as Audio Visual Department staff for a medium to large organization. Church technology experience preferred.
● Use of digital audio consoles and understanding mixing concepts
○ Behringer X32, Avid S6L, Waves Plug-ins a plus
● Basic to advanced audio signal flow
○ Dante network, AVB Network, MADI knowledge a plus
● Strong understanding of DMX protocol and light programming
○ Vista software experience a plus
● Strong understanding of broadcast video standards and concepts
● Ability to operate video switchers and broadcast cameras
● Equipment diagnostics and repair
● Design, setup and operation of basic to complex audio-visual systems

Lakeshore Student Ministry Coordinator

The purpose of Student Ministry Coordinator is to equip, empower and connect: students, adult leaders, volunteers and parents within the Student Ministry at Bay Hope Church Lakeshore campus to a Life Changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Typical Work Week Schedule (Sundays and Wednesdays required)
Wednesday 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ministry to Students:
•Equip and disciple students by meeting with them regularly and building relational credibility.
•Empower students to lead within the ministry by connecting them to the proper channels so they may work out their God given talents and abilities.
•Support students in school functions, extracurricular functions and church functions.
•Provide spiritual guidance for students at specific campus
•Assist in planning and executing Student Ministry programming and events.

Ministry to Adult Leaders and Volunteers:
•Recruit, equip and empower adult leaders within the context of Bay Hope Church and the campus constants established through Bay Hope Church.
•Work with volunteer team at the designated campus, including chaperones and leaders for special events and camps. Schedule and communicate regularly and with advance notice to all volunteer leaders, honoring their time and commitment to the ministry.
•Communicate and build relational credit with each adult leader and volunteer.

Ministry to Parents:
•Develop relational credibility with parents at a specific campus.
•Assist Ministry Director in communicating with parents (email, remind texts, social media, phone, etc.)

Additional Responsibilities:
•Assist Student Ministry Director in administrative responsibilities.
•Once a month one-on-one with Student Ministry Director.
•Assist in Student Ministry Director in filling in teaching duties whether on specific campus or church wide at Bay Hope Church.
•Ongoing spiritual development and growth through personal time with Jesus.
•Perform any other duties as assigned by Student Ministry Director.

Online Campus Pastor

Lead and develop the online campus of Bay Hope Church, which includes information, resources, and an online community. The role is leadership as both a pastor and a technical expert. It will involve building a team of staff and volunteers to perform these essential functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Online Community Development and Pastoral Leadership:
Research, establish, lead, and support an online campus. The model should include weekly service elements, logistical support for online campus volunteers, follow-up on campus visitors, and working with third-party service providers.
-Host online campus services and develop procedures and processes for chat communication, prayer, and salvations.Setting up online small groups and teams for community building, online, and physical events.
-Build awareness of the online campus via social media and other necessary avenues by working with the communication team.
Maximize web strategy and resources to connect people to Christ and the community.

Design and Develop:
-This role will be interfacing closely with communications, creative, and video production teams.
-Ensure the website effectively provides information, resources, and community to the public and the church, furthering Bay Hope Church's initiatives and strategies.

Content Management:
-This role will be interfacing closely with the communications team.
-Work with staff and volunteers to develop and maintain the most updated information.
-Maintain and develop any internal content needs.

Strategic Planning and Development:
-Lead the development and implementation of a strategic plan for the church’s online campus presence.
-Ensure that the online communities are developed and supported according to the church’s strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience
-Ministry – Spiritual leadership roles.
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
-Pastoral Experience
-Web development experience – 2-5 years, preferably with experience building websites.
-Leadership and management – Built and managed teams of five or more.
-Social Networking – Has an established internet community and utilizes web resources well.

Required Skills:
Technical – Working knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe products, Google Apps, Web Design programs, HTML, Planning Center suite of apps

Ministry – Pastoral Leadership, small group leadership, leadership development

Communication – Exceptional digital communication experience, writing, public speaking, creative communication

General – Project management, organization, multi-tasking, cultural relevance.

Digital Campus Coordinator

The Digital Campus Coordinator is a key member of the Global Online Campus leadership team and, along with the Campus Pastor, will help to administer all aspects of Bay Hope’s Online Campus. This full-time position will be involved in recruiting, training, and discipling our team of volunteer hosts and small group/discipleship group leaders. They will be heavily involved in connections and connecting people to a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. This will require them to be available for live broadcasts all throughout the week, including the weekend. The Digital Campus Coordinator serves as a liaison between the Campus Pastor and the ministries of Bay Hope. They, along with the Campus Pastor, will help to coordinate and plan digital ministry footprints for the church. As needed, they will also serve in a technical role behind the scenes, as well as in front of the camera as a host, teacher, and leader, and even as an audio and video producer.

The Digital Campus Coordinator will need to:
•Recruit, equip and empower a team of winsome volunteers, including key volunteer leaders dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
•Recruit, equip, and empower a team of volunteer hosts for Bay Hope digital presence, as well as key small group and discipleship group leaders that are dedicated to helping people grow in their walk with Christ
•Liaise with Ministries Directors as needed to improve and expand each ministries’ digital footprint
•Build relationships and care for our digital attendees
•Execute the system for small groups and discipleship groups
•Liaise and champion YES/Next steps.
•Coordinate with Director of Connections for baptism, membership, and confirmation weekends
•Coordinate major events and outreaches that are campus specific
•Become an on-camera personality that truly makes the Global Online Campus feel as if they have another leader amongst them
•Help with production for live and on-demand events in whatever capacity is needed
•Help or be willing to learn how to edit video, audio, and photography using the Adobe Creative Suite
•Technical duties, such as ProPresenter, graphics, switching, and operating streams

Bay Hope Day School Teacher

Bay Hope Day School is currently seeking Part-Time and Full-Time teachers. Our philosophy is that our primary objective is to provide superior Christian Education in a nurturing atmosphere which embraces the whole child. We believe that children should learn in a stress-free, safe environment where guided and free expression activities are combined to enhance each child’s spiritual, emotional, social, physical and cognitive development. EARLY CHILDHOOD LEADER POSITION: Westchase Campus

Do you enjoy caring for young children & sharing God's Love?

A part-time position is open for a loving, caring, energetic person who works well in a team environment, sharing God’s Word, and serving families at Bay Hope Church. You must be at least 21 years of age and able to lift at least 30 lbs. You will be working with children within the age range of 6 wks to 5 years during Sunday morning services.

An Early Childhood Teacher will need to…

- be comfortable with caring for young children (6 weeks to 5 years of age) including lifting & holding small children, changing diapers, and participating in floor activities.
- work well with other team members including supervising, delegating tasks, and mentoring.
- ‘Accept’ Planning Center Services, review weekly curriculum (including Bible Story Videos), and come prepared to lead the Bible Lesson plan following the Room Program which includes relational activities, games, crafts, worship music & prayer.
- ensure that the classroom is set up properly, sanitized and safe before children arrive, as well as clean up and reset for each service (following the Room Check Off List).
- welcome and Check families In & Out at the classroom door.
