At Risk Kids Ministries started at Bay Hope Church almost seventeen years ago. Thousands of the most vulnerable children in Tampa Bay have been blessed by this ministry of our church.Your extravagant generosity is shining a light in the darkness for these precious children and their families through three primary expressions of God’s love:
Get connected
SKP offers loving support and proven methods for helping children, teens, and families who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives. SKP is now approved by Hillsborough County Public Schools to provide grief support to students on-site. We started in the 2023–24 school year with an overwhelming response. SKP provided 26 ten-week support groups in the schools last year! Eighty schools are signed up for this current school year!It is estimated that there are more than 20,000 grieving children in Hillsborough County. We know that grieving children who receive support are significantly less likely to develop behavioral disorders, engage in substance abuse, or complete suicide.

This ministry shares the love of Christ with children who have been abused, abandoned, and trafficked. In addition to our life-changing ministry with children in the juvenile justice system, our primary growth is outreach to children in foster care group homes who face an uncertain future.

The Boutique is so much more than a “clothing closet” for young girls in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. The moment the girls enter the boutique, they experience God’s love in a dignity-enhancing, welcoming atmosphere of grace and love. And now we are mobile! You made it possible to acquire and renovate an RV through the 3M campaign. Now we can go to those girls who can’t come to us.
