Bay Hope's Suncoast Kids Place is teaming up with LOHADA, an orphanage for abused and abandoned children in Arusha, Tanzania, to establish a grieving and trauma center for the children there. We are replicating our SKP model and strategically fitting it within the local African cultural context. This marks the first of hopefully many global SKP model replications. We have assembled a team of very special people to travel to Arusha to launch SKP Africa, including SKP's Deborah Brooks and Kim Pacheco, Missions' Abdel Rodriguez, Bay Hope's Africa ambassador and longtime members Diane and Dave Engelhardt, and Carrollwood Cultural Center Curator and Art Therapist Michele Stone.
How can Bay Hope people get involved?
Join the prayer circle. Commit to pray for our team and this very special launch from now through the end of November.
Donate to the mission. We need funds to help us purchase art supplies, training materials, etc. Donations can be made online with a note "For the benefit of SKP Africa"
